Have a great experience? Could things have gone better? Take a minute to tell us about it. Our goal is to continuously improve the service and care we provide for you and your family.
Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s board-certified physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and nurses, work together with the professionals at Helen G Nassif Community Cancer Center to treat more cancer patients than any other cancer care team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. PCI’s surgeons perform over 3,000 surgical cancer procedures each year. We offer the most current and up to date cancer treatment options, such as Intraoperative Electron Radiation Therapy (IOERT), conventional radiation therapy, chemotherapy (from our onsite chemotherapy infusion center), and diagnostics and cancer monitoring through our onsite imaging center.
Our goal is to deliver quality cancer care with a compassionate approach that is personalized to your needs. Cancer care is focused on fostering hope and healing in each and every person. After a cancer diagnosis, we recognize the need for a trusting and confident environment that can provide patients a much-needed sense of relief. We strive to be that place of comprehensive care for all who entrust us with this portion of their lives.
We believe that every patient at Physician’s Clinic of Iowa should receive care based on current, nationally recognized standards. As Linn County’s largest group off medical oncologists and cancer surgeons (surgical oncologists), we are continuously focused on ways to deliver better cancer care and achieve better results for our patients.
This dedication to care has led us to national recognition from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Physician’s Clinic of Iowa – Hematology & Oncology has received the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative certification awarded for exception outpatient care. PCI was also the first cancer treatment provider in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor to receive the three-year certification. The National Cancer Institute has even designated our doctors as “clinical investigators.”
As a result of our dedication to quality cancer care, our treatment plans are well defined and referenced against standards from the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).
Our Hematology and Oncology team offers fellowship-trained physicians who customize cancer treatment plans based on our patients’ specific needs.
Patients and their families can feel confident that they are receiving the most current cancer treatment options available, while still being close to home in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City communities.
