Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa believes in giving you a choice in where you receive your care. Because PCI is an independent, locally-owned physician group, PCI specialty doctors are NOT employed by any hospital or health system. Instead, we give you the choice of where you’d like to have your surgery:

  • Surgery Center Cedar Rapids
  • St. Luke’s Hospital
  • Mercy Medical Center

Some PCI physicians also offer surgery at surrounding hospitals and medical centers. Whether you are seeking a referral or find yourself at a local hospital—request a PCI physician or give us a call today.

Accreditations

American Board of Medical Specialties

All PCI physicians and surgeons are either board certified or board eligible in their specialty. Medical specialty certification in the United States is a voluntary process. Board certification—and the Gold Star—demonstrate a physician’s exceptional expertise in a particular specialty and/or subspecialty of medical practice.

The Gold Star signals a board-certified physician’s commitment and expertise in consistently achieving superior clinical outcomes in a responsive, patient-focused setting. Patients, physicians, healthcare providers, insurers, and quality organizations look for the Gold Star as the best measure of a physician’s knowledge, experience, and skills to provide quality healthcare within a given specialty.
