Have a great experience? Could things have gone better? Take a minute to tell us about it. Our goal is to continuously improve the service and care we provide for you and your family.
If you are looking for a rewarding experience, we invite you to become part of the volunteer team at Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Medical Pavilion.
We recognize the talents and experience our volunteers bring to patients and their families. Volunteers offer exceptional care and understanding by taking time to give patients and visitors the extra help they may need.
Pavilion Greeter - You will work with our First Impressions team welcoming patients and guests to PCI. You will be escorting patients to their clinics and providing wheelchair assistance as needed. By using your customer service and people skills you will help put patients at ease when visiting the Pavilion. We have 3 to 4 hour morning and afternoon shifts available. If you enjoy meeting and talking with people this is the volunteer role for you!
Clinic Host/Hostess - For this role you might choose to escort patients when done with their Imaging appointment back to their waiting room in Orthopedics or, you might decide to provide companionship and support to our Oncology and Rheumatology patients by getting them snacks or beverages, something to read, a blanket, possibly paint someone’s fingernails or simply provide a listening ear. Shifts are available for 2 hours in the morning and afternoon. If you enjoy meeting new people and creating an exceptional patient experience this is the volunteer role for you!
We are a close-knit team in which lasting friendships are built. Come enjoy the benefits of serving others and join in our belief that we are together in health.
