Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Welcomes New Spine Surgeon

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is excited to announce the addition of Joshua A. Barber, MD, to the growing Bone, Joint and Sports Medicine/Orthopedics and Spine specialty.

Dr. Barber earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and was fellowship trained in Orthopedic Spine Surgery at the University of California, Davis.

"I chose PCI because, at PCI, there is no doubt that the patient comes first. This comprehensive, multi-specialty practice is well integrated in its ability to provide all aspects of patient care and will seamlessly guide your treatment and efficiently coordinate your care," Dr. Barber said. "Behind the scenes, PCI feels like a community, rather than a business, which is quite rare in the healthcare industry and medical field. After spending 8 consecutive years of my life between Coe College and the Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, I felt drawn back to the area
and I look forward to walking down familiar streets, building relationships, and providing exceptional care."
