PCI Offers Curbside and Telemedicine Appointments

To best serve those who rely on us for primary and specialty care, Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa now offers both telemedicine and curbside appointments.

Curbside Services: Offered at PCI Primary Care and Walk In Care, located in Medical Pavilion 2, 275 10th Street SE. Patients with respiratory symptoms, or those who do not wish to come into the clinic to limit virus exposure, but need a face-to-face family medicine visit, can take advantage of curbside services. Call (319) 364-7730 to request a curbside appointment. You will be instructed where to park; call upon arrival and a care team will come to your vehicle.

Telemedicine: It's the 2020 version of the house call. Connect with your PCI medical provider from the comfort of your own home with a telehealth visit on your smartphone or computer. You need to have access to PCI’s patient portal to schedule a telehealth visit. Please call your PCI provider directly for more information.

PCI Medical Pavilions 1 and 2 are open 8 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday. Patients with urgent needs, and other surgical and non-surgical procedures that cannot be delayed, are being seen as regularly scheduled. All services, including diagnostic lab and imaging, are fully available to these patients, as needed. Those entering either building are screened and staff are encouraged to wear masks during direct care. These temporary safety measures will stay in place until at least April 30, when we will reassess the COVID-19 situation.
