PCI understands that the strongest component of our operation is the people behind it. To that end, we offer an attractive benefits package that allows our physicians to achieve their financial goals while being able to practice with one of the most progressive and fastest growing healthcare organizations in the state. An overview of the benefits offered at PCI include:
When joining the PCI family, you enter into a partnership with a group of colleagues that provides medical excellence, in an environment of compassion, trust and respect. Your valuable time is spent with patients, not on the management of your practice. PCI’s culture values patient-centered care, physician quality of life and financial success.
A contract physician becomes eligible to become a PCI shareholder following the completion of one year of full-time service and no later than two years from the date of hire upon reaching goals over successive quarters. Physician must also be board-eligible during this contract period.
In addition to MD Allopathic and Osteopathic physicians will be considered. Board certification is preferred, although new graduates will be expected to seek board certification at the earliest opportunity in their respective subspecialty. The desire to be a team player and ability to work with other physicians of different generations and skill sets within a multi-specialty group practice is a must. Full partnerships can be offered between year one and year two of employment. Candidates must also be proficient in English and either be a United States citizen or have a permanent visa. Pre-employment drug testing and background check are required.
Founded in Cedar Rapids in 1997, Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa (PCI) is one of Iowa’s largest private, multispecialtyphysician groups. Over 80 physicians, surgeons, and mid-level providers meet nationally recognized standards for education, knowledge, experience, and skills in order to provide the highest quality of care in a wide range of specialties and subspecialties.
PCI is independent and locally owned—giving Eastern Iowa families a choice in where they receive their specialty care. Our specialists see patients at PCI Medical Pavilion, but also offer inpatient and surgical care at both Cedar Rapids hospitals, Surgery Center Cedar Rapids, and surrounding community medical centers.
Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa Medical Pavilion—Eastern Iowa’s premier specialty medical center—makes visiting the doctor more convenient than ever before. Accredited on-site imaging and laboratory, state-of-the-art technology, infusion center, and more, help deliver tailored solutions and successful outcomes.
In late 2019, PCI will open Medical Pavilion II on our growing campus. The 100,000 sq ft addition will house PCI clinics and complementary tenants, with the same focus on patient convenience.
Working together to be Iowa's patient-focused specialty care leader.
The Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is a multi-specialty group of medical and surgical specialties and staff serving patients in Eastern Iowa by improving their health through the PCI commitment to superior service and continuous quality improvement.
Our purpose is to deliver a lifetime of good health to those we serve.
Our promise to you is partnership. We want you to know that we’re not just working towards improved health together, we’re building a partnership together. One grounded in individual attention, tailored solutions, and successful outcomes. That’s why our promise is partnership—doing it together.
Together in health.
A thriving community of more than 250,000 residents, Cedar Rapids is Iowa's second largest city. Not only was Cedar Rapids named one of the most affordable cities in the nation, the city also ranked as one of best places to raise kids three years in a row!
Physicians' Clinic of Iowa is situated conveniently between the city's two hospitals, UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's and Mercy Medical Center, and is part of the economic development entity called the Cedar Rapids Medical Quarter or MedQ for short. As part of the MedQ, PCI helps to support the development of the surrounding area, creating a true medical destination in the heart of Eastern Iowa.
