Patient/Provider Philosophy

I believe that physical therapy is a cooperative venture between the therapist and the patient—with the therapist guiding the course of rehabilitation toward the patient’s goals. The challenge becomes melding the required treatment with the perceptions of each individual: relieving pain, promoting strength and flexibility, and achieving the optimal level of function for each person. Each individual has unique needs throughout their course of care, and I enjoy helping them find the path to wellness.

Why Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa?

I joined PCI to be part of an organization devoted to the full spectrum of patient care, especially regarding the close cooperation of PCI physicians with rehabilitation. The collaborative environment is unique, and done in a comfortable and inviting environment. I look forward to growing and learning along with the rest of the organization, throughout my tenure here.

Personal Interests

I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family. I am involved in fitness and recreational sports, including running, weight training, karate, and other sports as time allows—basketball, golf, or whatever my kids are doing!
