PCI Introduces Sinus Center to the Corridor

December 10, 2018 at 8:17 AM

As cold and flu season approaches, Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa Ear, Nose and Throat specialists have launched a new collaborative effort to treat sinus issues in eastern Iowa. The PCI Sinus Center is accepting patient of all ages suffering with allergies and chronic sinus issues.

“Anyone who has coped with sinus problems knows how frustrating and exhausting these conditions are. The PCI Sinus Center started as a convenient way for people to get the help they need for acute and chronic sinus illnesses,” said Kevin Carpenter, MD, FACS, chair of the department of Ear, Nose and Throat/Head & Neck Surgery at PCI. “We’ve made appointment scheduling faster and easier. Patients can expect a solid diagnosis and treatment plan that will address the root causes of their sinus problems, which, most importantly, means relief.”

A referral from a primary care or family doctor is not needed to see one of PCI’s sinus specialists. The only exception is if a referral is required by insurance.
