Locally owned CarePro plans to offer patients added convenience.

CEDAR RAPIDS—January 12, 2012—With construction underway and the building nearly enclosed, Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa (PCI) is excited to announce that CarePro Health Services plans to be a part of the 221,000 square foot patient-centered Medical Pavilion. 

The current concept for the new store includes pharmacy and medical equipment services, as well as access to all of the CarePro services, such as home health nursing, home IV therapy, respiratory services, specialized compounded prescriptions and supplements.  CarePro plans to lease approximately 3,600 square feet on the first floor of the building near the front entrance—making it easy for patients to pick up medications on their way out.

Set to open in January 2013, the addition of an onsite pharmacy reinforces the “medical mall” model PCI has embraced since conception.  “The goal is to offer visitors an array of services that provide a convenient, one-stop environment designed for their needs,” says Thomas Richardson, MD, President, Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa Medical Pavilion.  “The efficiency you get by having all these services in a single building is significant.  We are excited for patients to experience this extra level of service.”
