The physicians and staff of Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, P.C., are pleased to announce that Meiying Kuo, M.D. is joining the Hand Department of Orthopaedics located at 600 Seventh Street, SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401 effective August 31, 2009.

Dr. Kuo graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A & M College of Medicine in College Station, Texas in 2002. She completed her postgraduate training in General Surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Kuo has completed hand fellowships at the University of Toronto Hand Program, Toronto, Ontario in 2008 and Integris Baptist/University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2009.

Dr. Kuo will be available to treat any orthopaedic hand problems and has a special interest in congenital hand anomalies.
