New Podiatrist - Ryan McBride, DPM

CEDAR RAPIDS—April 5, 2011— Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa (PCI), a multidisciplinary medical specialty group, welcomes the addition of Dr. Ryan D. McBride, Podiatrist, to its team of foot and ankle providers.

Dr. McBride is experienced in podiatric medical and surgical treatments and managing and healing chronic wounds related to the feet.  Forefoot reconstruction for bunions and hammer toes as well as diabetic foot care, ingrown nails, disorders of the skin and nails, heel pain and accidental or sport injuries are just a few of the many foot problems Dr. McBride treats.

“It is my goal to provide patients with as much information as possible about their condition and treatment options,” says Dr. McBride.  He adds that as a physician, “it is a privilege to assist patients in whatever decision they make. Successful outcomes are the result of the highest quality of care, compassionately tailored to the individual.”

Dr. McBride earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Iowa and completed his medical training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served his residency at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Massachusetts and returned to Iowa in 2008 to practice podiatry in the Coralville area.

Over the course of his career he has researched and lectured about podiatric medicine, procedures and treatment.  He is board qualified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Joining Dr. Kim Lozier, DPM, Dr. McBride’s office is located at 600 7th Street SE, Cedar Rapids, IA.  He will also provide surgical services at Mercy Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital and Surgery Center Cedar Rapids.  Patients may be referred to Dr. McBride, DPM by calling (319) 398-1720.
