Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner to Neurology

CEDAR RAPIDS—January 31, 2011— Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa (PCI), a multidisciplinary medical specialty group, has announced the addition of Megan M. Raddatz as an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) in the Department of Neurology.  

Raddatz joins PCI’s team of six neurologists whom she will work with collaboratively to provide quality care for patients suffering from stroke, headache disorders, memory and dementia disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and sleep disorders. 

As an ARNP, Raddatz is qualified to assess, diagnose and establish appropriate treatment plans to meet the highest standard of care.  She will perform physical exams, diagnostic testing, develop and carry out treatment programs, as well as interview patients and take medical histories. She is a knowledgeable provider with previous experience as an independent nurse practitioner in an outpatient clinic setting.  “I am honored and thrilled to be joining such a talented team of specialists here at PCI,” says Raddatz.

Raddatz earned a Master of Science, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner from the University of Iowa.   She is Board Certified in Adult Health and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP.)
