Dr. Hugh MacMenamin 2010 Collegiality Humanitarianism Award

The Linn County Medical Society (LCMS) is pleased to honor Dr. MacMenamin with the Lee Hawkins Award for Collegiality/Humanitarianism.

Dr. MacMenamin has been an active member of the LCMS since 1986.  He has served in the Board, he has been deeply involved in the Pills & Drills charity golf event committee to support the local free medical clinics, he trained then ran the marathon to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation, and most recently he donated 2 months of volunteer work in Cambodia and Bhutan Himalayas with his wife, pediatrician Dr. Kathleen Opdebeeck.

He is held in high regard by his colleagues and staff, is considerate of others, exhibits a strong committment to community and works to improve healthcare for all.
