The physicians and staff at Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, P.C. are pleased to announce that Jennifer Anfinson, Au.D.,CCC-A is joining the Department of ENT Head and Neck Surgery in the Audiology/Hearing Aids Clinic. ENT Head and Neck Surgery is located at 901 8th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401. She will begin on March 15, 2010.

Jennifer Anfinsion graduated from the Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, MN in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech/Language/Hearing Sciences. She earned her Masters of Arts in Audiology at University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA in 2008. She earned her Doctor of Audiology at University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA in 2009. Her fourth year externship was spent working with the veteran population at the Nashville and Murfreeboro VA Medical Centers in Tennessee. There she focused on her interest in diagnostics and amplification while obtaining continued experience with counseling and rehabilation.

She finds the medical aspects of hearing loss a fascinating field and is truly looking forward to the clinic setting here at ENT. She owes partial development of this attribute to five years experience working with children, teens and adults with disabilities in a variety of situations and settings.
