The physicians and staff of Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, P.C., are pleased to announce that Scott Leaverton PA-C is joining the Iowa Blood and Cancer Care department located at the Medical Office Plaza, 855 A. Avenue NE, Ste. 420, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402 effective August 11, 2009.

Scott is a University of Iowa graduate earning, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science from the Physician Assistant program, in 1986. Since 1989, Scott has worked as a Physician Assistant in the Hematology - Oncology division of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. In that position he developed significant expertise in all aspects of the care and support of patients with cancer. He also assisted in the management of patients with hematologic disorders.

Scott will be seeing patients at Iowa Blood & Cancer Care, in conjunction with our five Medical Oncologists / Hematologists. Referrals can be made to the clinic by calling 319-297-2900.
