CEDAR RAPIDS - Since 1958 March 30 has been recognized as National Doctor’s Day. Again this year, Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett has proclaimed March 30 as Doctor’s Day in Cedar Rapids.
In observance of this event the Linn County Medical Society invited patients and the general public to nominate a physician to be recognized. They received glowing letters for 11 physicians stating the many examples of how these doctors went “above and beyond” in significant ways to improve the health of their patients.
Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is proud to have three honorees this year. To them we say thank you, as we reflect on their hard work and dedication toward improving the health of our community, making it a great place in which to live, raise children, and age with dignity.
Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, together with the Linn Co. Medical Society, believes that all physicians in our community have important roles and we thank them for their dedication. They are competent, altruistic, compassionate, trusted advisors, and well-educated in their chosen specialty. They are powerful yet vulnerable and strive to do their very best every day for every patient.
