Values
1. Respect for the Individual - We respect sacredness of life and the dignity and worth of every person. This includes not only our patients and visitors, but also recognizes the contributions of our employees.
2. Individual Patient Needs - While we serve many customers (patients, purchasers, referring physicians, employees, community) the needs of the individual patient will always receive the highest priority.
3. Patient Satisfaction - We are committed to developing and maintaining a caring attitude toward our patients. We believe that patient satisfaction is paramount to our continued success and is only accomplished through timely performance, cost and sensitivity to the unique requirements of each patient encounter.
4. Community Service - We are committed to being a good corporate citizen, recognizing our need to be civic-minded and involved with the overall needs of the community. We also feel that being involved in the community health problems is a natural extension of the care that we provide through our ambulatory care and acute-care settings.
5. Professionalism - We will continually strive for professionalism within the organization and with our employees, ensuring that they are knowledgeable, well-trained and exercise sound judgment, good communication, initiative and leadership; that our methods are effective and efficient; and that we listen and respond to patient needs.
6. Leadership - The group's assumption of a "leadership" role in community managed health care initiatives will be expected. The expressed purposes of this leadership role will be the continuing pursuit of quality medical care; patient and payor satisfaction; and the ethical pursuit of medical and business practices.
7. Employee Relationships - We will strive to provide employees with the opportunity for personal and professional growth, fair compensation, challenge, personal creativity, and a high degree of job satisfaction and security. We will promote an organizational environment where employees have a sense of belonging, a sense of team and a sense of family.
8. Vendor Relationships - We will treat vendors of services and products with respect, honesty and openness. All things being equal, we will purchase services from local vendors.
